I think it would be useful to have a link in the left frame of the NationStates website to your nation's telegram inbox. Perhaps with the number of telegrams in the inbox? That would save you having to go to your nation's individual page to get to your inbox.

A lot of hassle for 5 seconds, 20 if the server is slow
It couldnt be that hard. I would prefer a direct link to telegrams from the forum so that you could send one while still looking at the topic that you are TMing about. But hey, if wishes were fishes...

One link would hardly be a hassle. I think it would just make the user interface seem slightly more 'complete', shall we say. Im mean, if theres a link to 'issues' why not have one to 'telegrams'? Issues can come, at most, twice a day but telegrams may be used more often than that.

Sal has stated elsewhere that he thinks this is a good idea. It's not the first time it's been suggested.
He's also stated, for the record, that they aren't going to make any significant changes to the technical aspects of the Forums until we move to the new servers. Prepping and testing for that move appears to be the number one priority.
It's not that they're not listening to you, it's just a matter of priorities. I think you'll eventually see that change.

Frisbeeteria sums it up perfectly. I'm locking this thread because there isn't much discussion to be had on this topic. I'd like to see this happen too. Patience.

P.S. I think that this change may come with the move . . .
