Ok, so you're posting on this RP all night, and next morning, it's gone. What happened? Did the mods delete it? Did it drop off the face of the forum? Was it moved to top secret forum 7 that *cough cough* doesn't exist? :wink: Read on to find out-

Q: Ahh! What happened to my uber techy space war thread??? It's gone! Why must I suffer?

A: Chances are, unless your thread was explicit (Like pornography, flaming, Spam, or whatever badness), it was 'eaten' by the server. We've all seen the server fail for us, and sometimes it takes threads with it. They 'fall through the cracks of the server'.

Q: What?!??! No!!! Will I ever see my wonderful uber techy space war thread again???

A: You may, you may not. Sometimes these threads 'resurface' (Come back to the forums). This takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks. Or sometimes, they're never heard from or seen of again. If you do an ego search (View all topics posted in by you), and give the 'missing' thread a 'bump', it will resurface.

Q: So...where do they go?

A: No one knows. We'll just say they go to 'The Big Forum In the Sky' and leave it at that.

It's funny to see evryones evil server puppet post here.

If you save a link of the thread somewhere and then goes into the thread and post a reply it emerges out of the shadows again.

We have countless stickies for things, yet the volume of questions that are already answered in a sticky stays constant.
People just don't read the stickies.

Bas: If a post disappears and it did not contain anything offensive an ego-search and bump in the thread would work.
