The UN is corrupted! I've applied three times now, and I got the telegram saying that I've been excepted and all that, but I have yet to recieve any email. WTF? Anyone who can help do so. later.

Well duh,
v. ex·cept·ed

To leave out; exclude.

So if the UN excepted you, that means you were excluded or kicked out :P

Raysia: You might want to avoid making fun of other people's spelling unless they know you. This sort of thing could be considered malicious. "Think about it for a moment." Not an official warning; just a friendly piece of advice.

/me is not amused.

...

Laird MacFearsome: This sounds like a Technical problem. iMove  "Technical".

Have you tried looking in your spam box? I think that some e-mail providers consider NS's e-mails spam.

I frankly have the same problem as the person posted before me. Though I applied various times and got a telegram expressing congratulations, I simply do NOT get the decribed e-mail to become a UN member. I do hope I will soon be able to join the UN.

How long have you been waiting for the e-mail from the UN? I had to wait about a day between receiving the telegram, and receiving the e-mail. There are so many nations here, I guess it just takes longer.

1. How long have you waited for the email?

The email comes within 1-2 days.

2. What mail program are you using? (Hotmail, MSN...)

Sometimes, with hotmail, you have to add NS's email address to your contacts to receive email from them. The email address is admin@nationstates.net.

Sometimes, with hotmail

Always, at least in my experience you will have to do as Basenji suggests. A few non-generic mail servers I use also have this problem, so even if you're not hotmail, it would be an idea to check.
