I put in a UN proposal on Wednesday morning. As luck would have it, I saw the previous day's list of proposals that failed to meet quorum on the UN game page (about 8am server time), and decided that would be an excellent time to get the longest 'view time' on the proposals view.
I put in my proposal, and it was labeled Voting ends: Feb 07, 2004. Well, it's Feb 07, 2004 today, and my proposal has been wiped ... along with the 7 before it that shared that date. The proposal immediately BEHIND mine, and all the other Feb 07 proposals, are still there.
My proposal had less than 40 votes to go to reach quorum. I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't deleted for game mechanics or other reasons (here's a link (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=121212) to the Forum topic on it, if you're curious).
What did I miss? Did I mistime the end of the update? Why would a proposal dated for deletion on Saturday be wiped out in the Friday night update? I've posted a similar topic in Moderation, but I can't tell whether this is a moderation or technical issue. Answers, anyone?
