I recently moved to the region Ethereal Planes but cannot see my nation in the list of nations there. It says I moved there and I posted a telegram. Do I have to wait for it to post a new thing like "The nation is ranked [blah] in most [blah blah] nations in the region"? or is this a bug?

yep, the blah thingi you said. Or in more technical terms the UN update.

alternatively you can click teh link above the list that says view all nations in [region]
