I have a suggestion which I think is reasonable and easy to to.
I think that under Regional Controls there should be an option called "Shared Control". Under this option there would be a list were you could list the nations that you would like to be able to access the regional control.
This way, if you go on vacation or get grounded for a month, you can give your buddy the keys to the kingdom and he can watch over it with tender loving care until you get back.

So... what do you all think?

is there any chance of getting some real feedback or getting this to actually happen?

Nobody really cares about the thoughts of new nations.

Current plans are not to implement this. It is felt that this would de facto eliminate invasions which have been ruled to be a valid part of game play.

There are potential plans to allows successors to be appointed should you die of idle time. If, however, you wish for someone else to have access to founder (or delegate) controls while another nation holds them, they will need access to that nation, at which point we are not resonsible for the results.
