I'm attempting to apply to the UN, but have not received my confirmation email. I'm assuming it may have to do with my server blocking it, in which case I have a question. What is the email address that the confirmation will be coming from? If I can enter that into my list of friendly addresses, I can bypass the spam filter.
The UN email can be blocked by spam filters sometimes (especially if you use yahoo or hotmail). In response to your other question, I still happen to have this from back in september (my whole mail box is mostly just confirmation emails of some sort :P):
From: "NationStates" <admin@nationstates.net>
Subject: Naleth: UN Application
If you use Hotmail or Yahoo, turn your spamfilter off for 48 hours and reapply or add the '@nationstates.net' address to your safelist.
