Will someone PLEASE tell me what "bump" means?!? I've asked numerous people when they use it but I just get ignored or drowned out by the others who move on with the thread's topic.

It is used to send a thread to the top of the forum so other people can see it, i use it all the time, mainly people use it on their own threads.
You should stop getting snubbed now, :D
Bump doesn't have any special meaning. You can say anthing to move a thread up..
