Greetings,
In the XML Feed, a nation's UN Status is currently one of the following:
- Non-member
- Member
- Delegate
I suggest adding the following:
- Applied (has requested to join)
- Pending (email sent, awaiting verification)
And ofcourse, this listing goes back to "Non-Member" if and when their UN Application has timed out due to non-response.
This will allow people to verify what status their UN Application is in, so they know whether they are waiting for an email that has been lost (try again, using a different email) or hasn't been sent yet (wait a little longer).
Technically, the following could be added, but I'm not sure what use it has:
- Approved (received TM, but no email yet)
I have no idea how easy or difficult this is to implement (have no knowledge on the inner workings), but do know that it would be very useful for people to have more information when applying for UN Membership. While never having had trouble myself, I do hear other people's stories of having problems getting into the UN, and I have the impression it's happening more often all the time.
