There have been a couple of suggestions made, both recently and not so recently, that have been received with fairly positive attitudes from officials but have then faded into obscurity. Rather than digging up the threads from a while back, I thought I'd just post them here:


Use of word censors in forums to provide easy ways of giving common links/answers to queries. E.g. #gettinghelp# converts to a link to and explanation of the getting help page.

Ah yes. Thanks for this. First note. There is currently a feature freeze on the game. Nothing but critical patches will be implemented for the time being.

I did try the word censor trick (with the help of [rep]) but it didn't work.

Telegram RSS feed. We're still waiting on this one and will discuss it after the freeze.

Delegates tabling proposals. We're still hashing out details and work will move more solidly into consideration after the freeze.

If there are any other big ideas that I'm missing and need an update from the modling, please post them here.

Does the freeze have anything to do with an update to the server or the forums software? Or are there Things That Go Bump In The Night that you're not telling anyone about? :)
