Founders appointing deputies
I'd like to know whatever happened to the idea of Founders being able to appoint a deputy/heir, who would have the same powers as the Founder and also suceed to the Founder position if the previous Founder ceased to exist.
It was discussed some time ago and Sal said it was a good idea that merited further consideration.

If you get everyone to leave the region and come back, whoever is the first to 'come back' will become founder.

I know this, but there was discussion about Founders being able to appoint a deputy to avoid that entire process.

Yes, that would indeed make it easier, I guess. Actually, this is a very good idea. Unfortunately, I think that they are too busy with the extremely large amount of ideas that it takes awhile to do anything to the gameplay elements. Or perhaps they are waiting until NS2....
