For some reason I'm signing in as different people's nations

I don't get it? It just started happening recently, like, when I load the screen nationstates.net. I'm set for "Auto log in"-so it goes right to the playing window, but the nation is usually a completely random (usually newbie nation) pick. I sign out of the account, then log in as my own. Though I realize the effect of this bug could make some not-so-honest nations cheat and abolish/turn around some innocent players' nation.

So can someone please look into this?

Are you using a proxy?

Where are you playing from? School/home/work?

Proxy caching shouldn't be a problem, surely, with the new measures that have been implemented to stop it...

Turn auto-login off, otherwise other people can go nuts with your nation. 8)

ISP? Browser? Location of access? Is this a shared computer?

Whoa that is strange. It needs to be fixed though. I mean if you logged into Sketch's nation or something, you might be tempted to change the password.

Oh and changing your settings to no auto login may help you.

No, not a proxy, not a shared connection either. It's a home used laptop, usually only by me. ISP is a local business, hardly anything as big as Shaw (mega over-priced connections, too!-31k modem is what i have and that costs 40$ a month :(, however it is hte only thing you can get in the freakin arctic).

It happened again as I loaded nationstates.net....Republic of Dragon Isle, or something similar, came up. I had the ability to control all of his/her settings, view issues/resolve issues or logout (naturally I logged out).

It kinda makes me worried because I don't know if my computer has a hacker operating on it O.o (happened before-hacker was controlling my desktop/computer passwords from another location). Though I'm sure it's just a game error...hopefully.... :( it's a brand new computer, too, pentium 4-Windows XP home edition, Microsoft Explorer 6.0 (internet)

And I might be tempted to hunt you down and........wait a minute.......I meant "kindly inform you of your erroneous ways and respectfully request that you cease and disset with your illegitimate actions" :P Although, I am slightly flattered that someone I don't know would mention my name 8)

Hmm, curiuos. I'll try to figure out what's going on. If this happens again, please send me a telegram from that nation.

Don't talk about it! Wait until you find a mod's nation!
