..cant find in faq..what does my nations population give me and my region ( as in things that are benificial or detremental)

As far as I know, it's just a figure to give you an idea of how well you are doing (and 'well' is self defined -- are you the form of government you feel you should be? is your population working and happy or groaning under a 100% tax burden?)
also at 500 million you can customize your title... As in 'the republic of' and change that to 'the cool monkey nations of'
