Prob: NS or Mozilla?

Hmm...i have a weird problem.

I want my puppet nation to join the UN, (and have applied).

The problem is that when i type in the NS URL, it automatically logs in as my puppet. I go around with a wireless card in my laptop at school and home.

In an attempt to remedy, I have turned off automatic log in for both nations, and have deleted the save password for NS. Still, when enter the NS URL, it still remains.

Is this a NS problem, or a Mozilla problem?

I will not respond to the UN letter until this is resolved, for fear of losing my nation. I do not know if someone has a NS nation at school.

Thank you

Ah, easy problem.

Log into your main nation (Whichever you want shown when you log in). Go to settings. Set autolog on to whatever you want to to be. Then hit update.

Now when you go to NS, this nation should be shown first.

Thanks Bas. Sadly, it didn't work.

I fixed it by trashing all of the cookies that mozilla had stored up.

man, that was very annoying problem...i tried for like three days to fix it.

But that just makes it so a different nation logs in automatically ... :?
You're sure you hit "Update Settings" .. right? (I know thats incredibly obvious, but I can't thinko f anything else at the moment).

On a side note, the UN email times out after 24 hours.

You actually don't have to delete all the cookies in Mozilla, unlike IE.

You can just delete the ones for nationstates.net and all would be well... :P

If someone helps me out with taking a screenshot of the settings page, I'll help out further. Where are the screenshots saved? :?

*assumes windows*
In the clipboard (aka nowhere).

Go into MSpaint and hit paste after you've taken the screen shot. I recomend you crop out everythign that isn't neccissary, as MSpaint is not exactly known for it's efficiency.
