"Euthanasia is illegal"? I made it legal!

13-01-2004, 00:50
I voted on the issue for the Euthanasia to make it legal, and at the next update it said that it WAS legal. Now, about a week later, it says that it is NOT legal. What happened?

You obviously gave a different reponse to the same issue when it repeated.

It wasn't repeated. It only came across once. It just happened today. As a matter of fact, earlier today it said that it was legal, but now its not. I'm not absolutly sure about this...

Ah yes, I've just read your nation description.
I've never seen those descriptions suddenly change on their own. Perhaps you read it wrong?

I can honestly say I did not read it wrong. I spent about 10 minutes deciding on that issue and specifically remember chooseing that particular choice: to make it legal. And I'd remember if it was different earlier in the day. I'm just wondering if it can be changed or if it will affect me much.

It can be changed, yes.
The issue will eventually repeat, and you can choose the option to legalise it. It will disappear off your nation's description shortly anyway, as you process more issues.

Organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, the tenet of free speech is held dear, the owl is a protected species, and the government is slowly introducing social welfare programs.
I don't see "euthanasia is illegal" there. Are you reporting this problem late? If not, then you must be thinking that "Oh no, 'euthanasia is legal' has disappeared from my nation's description, so euthania's illegal!!!" Well, it's not. :D

No, another issue for the nation was processed so it pushed the comment about euthanasia off of the description.

Sometimes it seems as though the descriptors don't always match the responses you choose. I've often looked at my nation after deciding on a response and having it process, only to think "hang on a second, that doesn't look right".
