I only started on Friday, so this may be just a case of me being far too impatient. In any case;

I set issues to occur at a rate of two per day, and have stated my opinion on the first issue I was given. However, it hasn't changed since then - the issue still sits merrily waiting, and no new issues have popped up. (Incidentally, I've made sure I'm not in 'vacation mode')

Am I just impatient, or is something amiss? Thanks.

Ok, 2 quick things to check.

1) Make sure that your browser is asking for a new page each time (this shouldn't be an issue).
2) Leave your region, and then return to it.

Number 2 is quite likely to fix you problem. Oh, and double check that you are on 2, not 2 on weekdays.

Just checked - definately was set to Two per day. I just moved out and back into my region, so fingers crossed, all should be well, yes? How long do you expect it will take for issues to begin to trickle in?

You should recieve an issue in 8-10 hours time.
