I think a few of us had or have that problem. Annoying is one way to describe it.

I had it 2 days ago and i thought it was just the server and i didn't go online yesterday but it doesn't seem to have fixed so i'm guessing it isn't a server thing

Then I will look into it shortly.
I did have that too, but then I tried it a few more times, and then it worked.

I'm able to move between regions without issue. Would you mind describing the problem in greater detail?

Basically, you type in a region in the, "Find a region" box, and when you click find, it just sends you back to your nation's page.
Kinda wierd. It happened to me a few times, but then it started working again. That's all I can tell ya about it.

I have never had any problems. Please make sure that it is spelled correctly, and that you do not have any extra spaces in it.
If it was spelled incorrectly, it would simply take you to the Region Not Found: "____" page. Perhaps something was wrong with this page.

Sounds like a cookie issue to me. Try this:
Log out, then back in. See if that helps.
Locate your Cookies directory and delete any that have something@www.nationstates.txt
In IE6, go to Tools / Internet Options / General / Delete Cookies. Log in again afterwards.
IF all else fails, reboot and try again. It could be a corrupted browser file.
Luck.

I would be surprised to find that this is due to cookies.

Ok, I found it. This is not due to cookies. This is a server-side problem. I'll get this fixed as soon as possible.

I've had the same problem happen to me tonight. If I am in a region and choose to click on the link to move to a new one, it takes me to my spotlight. The only way I can move to a region is to go to "World" then the region, then chooes to move to said region "today!".

Allright thanks Sal!!!
:D
Thanks Sal, I was trying to check out the "Gay" region page and when I typed it in it would either send me back to the region one of my Puppets was in or my nation page. I ended up having to copy and paste and add /target=display_region/region=gay :o worked then, but not until I did that.

The problem is the region search function. You can't type part of a name in and find yourself a region. You have to know the exact name of the region which is hard to do.

*chuckle* Yeah, I know that it hasn't been fixed yet. It will be a few days (probably).
In order to find a region, go to the "World" page and use that region search feature, as that one works.

I figured that out on my own. I thought that it was a side effect of using Firebird, Until I went brosing Tech just now. Han't been reading anything other than my egosearch much for the past coupla days.
