problem solved :-)
my friend has asked me to get their nation ressurected. If they are not entirely sure of the email addy supplied can it be TGed to me?, i can supply the name of the nation, approx date of creation, type of nation, creature and currency and other stuff...

Go to the Getting Help page and give the nation name. Use "Other".
i did that... its just she might not be sure of the email address that she used...

That doesn't matter. All she need to know is the password.
ok... should the nation have been ressurected by now? its been 9 days is all, if this is common fair enough - i just havent done it before :-)

It should have been, yes. Re-file a report in The Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help). Be sure to say the name of the nation, password not required.
Your last report was probably lost in the other hordes of reports they get everyday.

They likely might not inform you of the ressurection (I wasn't the one time I had a nation res-ed), check the region "Lazarus" and see if it's in there.
ok - i have just been doing a global search for it :-)
ok its been another three days and the nation still doesnt appear in the world rankings... any of the mods have an idea as to what has happened? i have requested twice...
There were two nations, Amrun Ithil and Mycona and from what i remember neither had anything that would have gotten them banned before they lapsed...
bump... (they still arnt up)

a global search should work, right?

yes. and if you want to try it the names are "amrun ithil" and "mycona"
What are their full names? Did you try that?
Example: I'm the Holy Nation of Outsiderville.
