I know how I would vote on these issues. Sometimes the option is not available and most times the way the option is worded I would not pick it.
We need to have some options that don't make it sound like I am a rabid supporter for picking it. For example the latest was on genetic research and I support it with oversite, but not financial government support, but the option said full speed ahead and more government finance, not my choice. So I dismissed the issue, to many times I pick dismiss.

it's something you would have to bring up with the authors of the issues. Or, you could make your own issue that suits the style you would like to issues done in.

True, they are meant to make your nation take more severe actions, thus letting your nations progress faster. As long as you choose the one closest to what you believe, in the end your nation will come out the way you want it, or atleast very close to it.
