I've been getting this a lot lately. Has anybody else?
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Is there anything that can be done about that? It's getting rather annoying seeing that 9 out of every 10 times i try to load a page in the forums. A week or two back the forums were doing just fine, but for the past week (or as long as this nation has been around) the forums have been getting more and more irritating to use.

yeah, i sure have! I just spent half an hour just trying to check on one of my topics! they need to accomodate a greater influx of nations. I'm really sick of trying over and over again to get on the forums!

I run into the same problems. It is almost like the boards are overloaded or something. Any one have any ideas as to what is going on here?

The server is a pretty good one. It's just being used for things it wasn't made to do, such as service the whole nation thing. The only thing you can do is hope they find a way to fix it, or at least improve it.
Wasn't as bad as it was when NS started getting popular...
They're using RH :P But hey, what can ya do :)
It's just like when nations get deleted cause they play at school, NS is just overplayed, and a new one with better software hasn't come out yet. Until then we just have to deal with it. :wink:

After adding nationstates.net to my trusted sites - I've got into the forums every time.
Sure, the page load times are sometimes aeon-like at times - but it seems to have worked for me.
In IE6 - Tools - Options - Security - Trusted Sites - Sites - Untick https box - enter www.nationstates.net - click add
Et Voila!
Well.. it worked for me :D
(I have no clue why tho)

After adding nationstates.net to my trusted sites - I've got into the forums every time.
Sure, the page load times are sometimes aeon-like at times - but it seems to have worked for me.
In IE6 - Tools - Options - Security - Trusted Sites - Sites - Untick https box - enter www.nationstates.net - click add

I can't do that... one cache poisoning, and it'd be happy hour.
Is anything going to be done about this, It has ruined NS for me, and the way it seems many more people as well, Its no use if we cant get on at the window of our own time we have for ourselves.
Cant one of the mods start a server or something, Please im getting annoyed at everytime i come on it takes me half an hour or so to even check my posts, my shop and another important thread have fallen behind how can i keep my Nation alive when i cant get on ????
