Proposal order

06-01-2004, 14:16
I think the order for UN proposals (candidates for resolutions) should be different, from those with most endorsements to those with least endorsements. This would bring up the more relevant proposals (because they are supposedly more widely endorsed) and move the less interesting proposals down to the end of the catalogue.

What do you think?

Of course this would mean that those who'd need more endorsements most direly - the good ones who have seen some 10 votes but not more yet - would disappear in the middle of the list and those just new and thus not endorsed yet would be grouped with the complete and utter chaff at the end. It's even tougher for a delegate then to do his job.

But I think good new proposals would move up soon enough. Maybe there should just be multiple ways of displaying them, with a changeable order and a link for every proposal (so that it's easy to propose it to the delegate by other members of a region).

A lot of delegates surf the top 3 pages every day, looking at the proposals about to come to their alloted approval time. If you change the order, many proposals will never be looked at by those delegates, and the system will become even more flawed.
