Hello. just to report that, a single nation, Tyrone, seems to repeat several times between position 15 and positions 68 on the rank list of the largest nation.

Some sort of bug?

Tyrone is currently ranked 15, 17,18, 21,24,29, 31,35,38, 41, 46, 49, 50, 56, 59, 65, 68, 71,74, and 78. Yeah, thats a problem

The descriptio for all of those links says that it is 15th in the world, and it is the exact same nation, not one with spaces before or after.

He didn't "hack the game". He exploited a loophole.

It's sort of like that. This wasn't HTML monkeying, like the title changing was, but the same kind of thing. He/she found a way to abuse the system and did so, and has thus been punished.

I'm just genuinely curious. I'd have no reason to try and use it. It's just a silly little game, why cheat?

I know how, all you need do to is join the UN 737 times and your nation grows by a billion.

nope, it's much much easier, although you do have to be up at reset time ;)

I almost did this with one of my puppets to get the custom title about a day sooner. Now I am so glad that I didn't. :shock:

Let me clear something up with his punishment. His population will be restored to a corrected number, and there will be no further actions taken against him. There were no specific rules against it, at the time, and I probably would have done similarly myself. The thing to remember that if you do this stuff, sometimes you will get burned.

You guys know better, though, from this thread and if any of you exploit this (that's different from accidentaly doing it, and we can tell the difference), you will be punished much more severely.

To everyone itching to explain how to do this. I ask you to wait. I am working on a patch for this, and would prefer that you do not spread the methods until after the patch is in the system.
