As far as I know I wasn't breaking any rules. I'm still a bit bummed out about this but here's what happened:

I was region hopping with my nation Dorghistan
I answered all of my issues
Next I know it says Dorghistan does not have any issues.
I look at my nation.
The Great Kingdom of the Shah of Dorghistan becomes the 0 of Dorghistan
Outlawed Frightening Rare becomes something an All-Consuming economy
Ironfist Consumerist (I believe that's what it was) becomes a Moralist Democracy
My flag disappears to the same flag people in Lazarus who had custom flags have
My national animal disappears but my currency stays the same
I'm trapped in an alternative-dimensional region.
No kidding.

My sidebar says the region I'm in, but if I go to my region it shows the region page without the very top, although it does give enough to give me the option of leaving. There are no other nations in the region. Not even me. The regional civil hq works, however, because I posted on it.
I fix what I can and leave. Devastated at what this glitch had done to by nation (it's in a pretty big RP role with another one, and it had the advantage of a better military but now that advantage was shot).
I hop another region or two.
Interestingly enough, the region I came to showed me as coming from The Pacific, the original nation birthing grounds.
Interestingly enough, the time I was in that alternate region was the same time the Pacific region was updating and deleting inactive nations.

For some reason I return to the region where I was. I believe that was also where the glitch happened the first time now that I think about it.
This caused me to take up four lines on the region happenings of the region I moved to and the region I moved there from. For that I apologize. I wasn't intentionally spamming.
I'm looking at my nation one minute (2.35billion pop btw) and I click on its name link again and I don't see it anymore. It takes me to a blank white screen with the sign-in thing at the top left. I do that, and it says Dorghistan no longer exists. I look it up in the world. No such nation. I look back at the region. It disappeared.

It was my largest nation. It was my third nation. The first nation I ever made so that I could have fun as a Psyhotic Dictatorship. Gone. :(

I didn't intend to break any rules, if that's what I did. What in the heck happened here?

I filed a mod report explaining what happened and asking to get my nation back (though I wasn't logged on to any nation at the time) but I also thought I would post about this in Technical.

I'm like, really bummed out here, dudes.

I was talking to someone about this and he told me he saw someone mention it the other day. I then immediately came to this thread to announce my goof (says in the sticky to not post topics about something that had only happened a day before).

The BIG difference being my nation was entirely deleted. Here one second, gone the next.

One small problem though, Dorghistan's stats are all messed up.

That was probably just the result of your last issue being processed.

You seem to be in decent shape now. Just return to your old region. If you find anything out of place, just let me know.

It doesn't show my last four decisions in the bottom like it should. Besides, none of the last five issues I've had involved boosting religion & spirituality or lowering defense spending.

Umm. My password's a little different than what it was before. I use the same password on nearly all of my nations, and the one I use for Dorghistan does not work no matter how many times I enter it.

I was going to file a mod report to get my password back ::thanks his lucky stars Dorghistan was a UN member a long time ago:: but this seemed like the better place to do it because it was directly related to the bug. Or should I have the other, or both?

Either will get to me in the end, though this is more direct.

You're right, that nation is still mucked up. However, your email is registered with it, and thus, you can request a new password. If there are significant problems, I can get your nation restored from a backup, but that will take some time.
