I theonly one who has any endorsemnts in my region(at the mo) yet im not yet receving the un update pending message. how many endorsemnts are needed before i can become delegate

you only need one, but you do have to wait for the daily update, before you'll become delegate

You mean "So and so has # verified endorsements"??
If so, you had to have, lets say, 1 endorsement at the last update, you then get another endorsement before the next update, so it would say UN update pending, you have 1 verified endorsement. That is because it was verified last update. Since you just got your endorsement, it hasn't been verified.
