As I'm sure you've all noticed, nation names are non-recycleable. I was wondering if it would be possible to make names of former nations not currently in use reusable.

Nation start dates weren't recorded until recently ... (according to Salusa) ... I'll bet death-dates aren't recorded at all. That's a big problem for automating that kind of process. Also, there are some names that belong to famous nations that should be permanently reserved.

Well, as I just ressurected my brother's nations that had been dead for about 7 months, I don't think clearing the list after 6 months is that good of an idea. Again, this isn't very likely to happen.

or even Dear God no, that annoying Delux 247 g0rt from the coke music comercial at the movie theatre.

personally I sugest we compile a list of famous and infamouse names and post a archived thread of them, and those names can never be redone,

Or perhaps if someone creates a New nation named after an old dead one, make its name instead of black say dark blue.so you can tell that the new one is definitly not the old one.
