Well, what does it mean? I can't post new threads (somehow this one got through), I just get that...

It means the server really sucks and you just have to try again later. They're working on improving it, but for now going back and resubmitting it is about all you can do *shrugs*

NS works just fine on my school comps. It's only when I use AOL on this laptop that is gives me probs.
It is a bug with PHPBB (my own boards have the same issue) and the AOL browser. If you use any other browser, you would be fine.
I use IE and I get invalid_session sometimes too ...
for the last time people, stop telling people it's their browser when it's the NS server...
AOL uses a slightly modified version of Internet Explorer. It's not the browser, it's the NS server. I get them from time to time, and I use DSL, and my browser is Opera.

Ditto. Actually, when the server is really, really bad, I get this message, and I use IE. Not regularly, but still...

So it's proabably a combo of NS, a little AOL, and the fact that my laptopt fell off my desk a few weeks ago...

The error is due to a now deemed redundant piece of code existing withing phpBB 2.0.4.
This version is no longer supported and is outdated.
I can provide the details on removing this error at absolutely no risk to site security (it's removed it 2.0.5 and 2.0.6).
The reasn for not proiding it?
It won;t get implimented.

I get it on Netscape (v6.2) and Firebird.

I get it on Firebird occasionally - it seems to occur on the forums when my login to NS has timed-out (I usually login to my nation then open a new tab for the forum).
I can usually avoid it by refreshing the main page every so often, though I don't know how long the time-out is.
