I went to check on my new nation today (The Logarchy), and noticed that voting was set as "voluntary" in the description. Well, that's all fine and good, except that I selected compulsory voting in the first issue I was presented with.

Now, it could be that I'm crazy, or maybe there's something funky with the algorithm that meant that my vote only partially changed things?

It's just a little flabbergasting to me.

It happens every now and then. My thoroughly un-technical guess is that it's connected to the randomness of the issues and descriptors, but someone technical might know more.

And I've got the exact oppersite problem, I wanted voluntary voting and seem t have got compulsory. I know what I voted for.
