Well? It's a common feature on boards like this, so why doesn't this one have it? I'm just curious because my factbook has smilies popping up on it where there should be none because the characters I type just happen to part of a smilie code.

A standard phpBB board allows smilies to be disabled when posting.

well when making a list it can be a pain:

Open your list code with [ list=1 ]
Don't use spaces though.
Using an asterisk (*) inside brackets, make your points line by line.
Now you've got a numbered list.
You can also do this with letters (list=a) .
Or simple bullet points (list).
Close it with your standard /list end tag.

No, they took out the whole profiles section. Unfortunately, whether or not smilies appear/are translated is part of the profiles.
