I tried to replace one custom flag with another - it is just impossible. I was refreshing page, deleting internet history, changing the extension of file, changing it's name, changing the file itself. Nothing helped.

Follow these steps carefully, there is one I think you might be missing:

1> Click on "Settings"
2> Click on "Creat Your Own"
3> Browse
4> Upload, you should be taken back to your settngs page
5> Click Update Settings
6> Go to your nation spotlight
7> Refresh the page

...but it does not help. And an interesting fact: when I follow these steps and refresh the page, there's a message stating something like : "to view this page You must send data again, blah, blah, click 'retry'."
I click 'retry' but it doesn't change anything... :cry:

The "Submit data again" is resubmitting the login information. Instead of refreshing, try clicking the link to your national spotlight on the sidebar. I think it doesn't actually refresh if you get that dialog box (definetly not if you hit cancel).

I have about the same thing (I'm new here, btw): I've uploaded, and changed the size of my own created flag, but even now I have to watch my flag with binoculars or spectacles, it keeps saying that it is over 6 kB! :evil:

You can try saving it as a .gif file. That usually reduces the size quite a bit.

Argh! Hitting the spotlight does not help either. Now I am pretty sure it's a bug.

And my flag is 4 KB, so it's not the matter of size :(

Old flag is blue-white with a dragonfly in the upper left corner. New one should be blue-yellow with a cirilic text on it :(

I see the yellow-blue flag.

Also, (to whoever said somethign about this) the max size for flags is more like 5.5kb. 6kb is to large according to the server.

I see the new flag too. You've obviously got the old one wedged in some invisible cache along the way. Your ISP might be using a proxy. Check your proxy settings by going to Tools -> Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings
Make sure the 'Use a Proxy Server' box is cleared.
