Hey could we get the ability to allow author of a UN proposal to add to the proposal (not edit, add only) as long as it is still in the Delegate approval mode?

I have written one and would like to add to it to clarify something but without the ability to do so I may have to rewrite it later.
(I basically want ot clarify the meaning of Robot, add a definition of Robot that the law would apply to for example self aware Robots or Andorids would be exempt (Andrew Martin, and Data for example) as well as clarify the diference between Android and Robot.

if we could add to it while it is still in first phase it would be great.
and much helpful to the UN and proposal submitters.

Thank you

You could acomplish things by adding to proposals that are almost as bad as you could by editing them. It would also mean more work monitoring proposals for Enodia and more work re-reading proposals by delegates. It's hard enough to get most of the delegates to look at proposals without them having to reread old ones all the time to look for changes.

I think it's a good idea, though, because see people complaining about "If the proposal just had X, then I'd approve it." A system like this would mean you don't have to wait for it to die every time someone says that and resubmit it.

As far as how hard to code it would be, that probably depends most on the system they use to store the proposals. It probably wouldn't be easy, though.

ah it doesnt matter anywho, the proposal I submitted is goignto fail even after all teh work I did for tothers helping get their proposals passed on in one memorable instance helped in defeating it and all, I doubt I will submit any furhter ones anywho.

Due to being tired I've been a bit lazy, but If I'd known that you had a proposal in there, then I would have gone trough the list, and likely approved it.

There's nothing wrong with the idea in the abstract, although I do agree that it potentially creates more work for yours truly (at least we're not talking full-fledged editing of proposals). The low-tech solution to it is to let your existing proposal die, then re-post it with the relevant additions then campaign like you've never campaigned before. A few nations have done that in the past and it seems like the best/only way out.

I did ask, but it probably got lost, I will resubmit it later, maby,
funniest part is however the first Hippos made it with like 200+ and this one is no where near passing, however Arhiteuthis did endorse it though I thank him for that.
