I don't know if this is realistic.
Acorrding to this, a nation with 319 million pop and 60% flat tax rate has a smaller budget than the US, whom has only a pop of 290 million?

The economy matters. The US has a rather large and powerful economy.
United States as a budget of $10,400,000,000,000 and a pop of 290,342,554, that would make it's Gross National Product per capita $35,820. Making the US's Economy "Frightening". Using this Calc, the US would be making $3,484.8 billion (using the avg tax rate of 24.3%, Tax and Corruption modifier of 1). Not anywhere near the $10,400 Billion it should be. I think the tax rate doesn't come into affect at all here, but on that, i migh be mistaken.
The United States Budget is not $10 Trillion, thats the Gross Domesitc Product of the entire United States.
Total Gross Domestic Product 2002: $10.45 Trillion
The Government Budget is about $1.946 Trillion according to the CIA 2003 Factbook ( http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.html#Econ )
Mind you...the figures in the 2003 Fact Book are based on 2002 Economic Figures, and does not include the adjustment to accomodate the $800 Billion Deficit for 2003.
I stand corrected. Next time I will get all of my facts together.
