Hi again everyone, i havn't post in Tech for a while, so to make up i've got a new idea for ya all :D

I saw the 'endorsment' thing UN nation have and that got me thinking. How can that be adapted....

And I came up with the idea of RP ranking!!!

The origional idea consisted of each nation having unlimited points they can spend on nations they consisder good Rpers. And the more piont ya get the better you look!

But then i thought some silly-billy would just make puppets to boost their RP rating.

So i thought to become a RP rating person, you have to register your nation as your 'main' nation, much like joining the UN, but this is kinda like proof your only joining with a main nation.

And then only nations who have registered can rate and be rated. I think it's got potential :wink:

Well, i kinda got the idea from 'eBay' if you pay on time etc.. they rate you and if you have a good rating people will trust you etc...

It can be the same for NS. For example if someone wants to know how good an Rper you are they need only look at you rating, so you can be accepted or denied like that.

*Begins to think it not such a top idea....*

But there would be lots of people who would endorse horrible RPers...

Hmm,

I've seen a similar system on another Internet game. You get star points for being helpful to n00bs, lose them for flaming etc., get chuckle points for being funny, lose them for being annoying. These are displayed under your forum name.

I like the soccer system, Yellow Card = Warning, Red card = Off the field.
Simple, but a demerit/merit point sytem might work.

I think it's got potential, if it could be implemented.

Sort of like a warn system, like the one they have on the Invisionfree boards?
I don't think I'd like a system of rating for RPers, because it would brand them, classify them; this might lead to other players not considering them, new players only RPing with a select few etc. Isn't it part of the NS experience to discover the way the world goes around by playing the game?

Trix already suggested a warn system months ago, and the consensus was that it it would take too much coding, and leading to the cliquish divisions being deepened.

Somebody suggested that only mods and admin do it, but of course (among other problems), they could not do it for every player.
