Teething problems

18-12-2003, 20:35
Hey, wondered if anyone could help me. When You're dealing with an issue, what do you do after you've clicked your choice? It just says 'this is the position your government currently holds," or something, and there's no way to decide. I can't get back to the main bit. This probably sounds damn stupid to all you seasoned types, but I'd appreciate it if you could stop snorting derisively long enough to straighten me out. Thanks.

Just click the back button several times and it will return you to your main page. The issue will take effect the next day according to whichever position it was that your government was planning to adopt.

After the next update of the server (In the early morning sometime) your choice on the issue will be logged and your stats will change acording to what you picked. If you want more then one issue a day, just change it in settings and next update you will get 2 issues everyday.

Usally one during the morning and one during the day.

Hope this helps. :)

Actually, NS being a frames page, that doesn't always work.

Just click the link in the top of the sidebar that says "Ironmaidenopolis" and it will return you home. If this frame has disapered, reload, and it will reappear.

You get the issues at different times, one during the UN (night time if you are in America) update and if you are set to two per day then the other comes during the off-hand (mid-afternoon in America) update.

Hmm... been doing it ever since I started NS and haven't encountered a problem once, maybe it's a problem if you're using a different browser or... whatever. Not that it matters.

About twice a week it messes up when the history page gets overloaded I guess.

Probably a moot point looking at how much help you were offered, but in general it is best not to insult those from whom you request help. I understand the sentiment, but it is still better to play the better hand.

That said, good luck in the game.
