GNP and Budget Calculator finished

People have remarked on some of the Pipian GDP Calculator's failings. While useful, it is seen to ignore important and available data, and place emphasis on certain areas which are at best sketchily connected to economics.

I've finished work on a Budget Calculator - it's available at this address (http://members.fortunecity.com/thracetailteann/html/gnp.html). Unlike the current "industry standard", it takes tax rates and economic freedoms into account. Civil rights have much less prominence, though political freedoms have a small effect on the budget.

The main disadvantages I can see with my Calculator are
1: It's not as easy to use as Pipian. Hopefully I can redesign it at some point - perhaps in v1.1 - but certainly not before the New Year.
2: It can't calculate a defence budget. I hope to find some way to code this by v1.1.
3: The code may still be leaky? If you have trouble with it, please inform me.

Comments and criticism are welcome.

So in v1.1 it will use the automated XML feed?

It goes by the system of 1000 million = 1 billion.

The problem with your calculator is that it is JavaSnit dependent. Some of us are smart enough not to use JavaSnit-vulnerable browsers.

Please convert to CGI, Perl, or some other server-side method. Thank you.
