I mean seriously, I can't do anything! It's like running GTA3 on a 486.... I got a fram rate of about once every 5 minutes on this game ;)

There is NOTHING you guys can do to get this thing going even a LITTLE faster? This is getting more annoying than fun... sitting around for half an hour trying to post something that took 10 seconds to write.

Well if you guys want to shell out hundreds of dollars each month for a web game which returns $0.00 in profits back to you... go ahead.

That said, we can probably expect much better performance in NS2 ;)

Psh, you kids think you've got it so rough. Back in my day, it took 15 minutes just to get from one thread to the next! And then of course you had to try 15 times to post one sentence! And of course you could only access the forums from 2 - 6 AM EST. In the snow! Uphill both ways!

If you have been here a long time you would know the first nation states servers.. well hate to say it sucked... I was at that time using a dail up and I was lucky to get to the website, I could NEVER access the forums. I used my schools t3 line and got the the web site with ease. Yet the forums always evaded me. To bad, If I started posting from the start imagine how many I would have :wink:

I understand the need for secrecy and all, just something about the phrase "long-term solution" that sounds a bit scary to me. :twisted:

For the first 4 months or so of NationStates, it was impossible to access the forum.
