I don't think this is a big deal, but I thought I'd point it out. When I post during heavy usage, sometimes the message gets posted but the page where you post behaves like it failed. The confirmation doesn't come up.

Anyhow, I've had a number of double posts because of this, which I've edited to something else so that it isn't obvious what happened. It would be nice if the page would either work or fail completely rather than deciding to exist in a kind of limbo.

Simply hit the back button and reload the page, or if it is a slow topic and you recall the number of posts, reload the egosearch.

That's what I do. I sometimes forget, and that is when the LAN choses to crash on me competely, leave quadruple and hexaple posts locked in place, but it usually works.

I recall that when I joined there was something that prevented you from making multiple posts in quick succession, but it only worked to prevent you from doing it across threads, multi posts on the same thread went usually through due to the time that it took before it realized that it neede a time out. I suppose that that is why they canned it.
