I'm mute - no access to forums

Hi -

I started a nation a couple of weeks ago (Knaff), and have just discovered that I cannot access the forums with this nation.

When I enter the forum, it reports that I am not logged in.

I have investigated all the FAQs and help pages I can, to no avail.

I am running IE6, I have tried this on 3 different PCs now, cookies / jscript is enabled, tried with the lowest security settings in IE, I have cleared cookies etc etc..

As a last resort, I have just started another Nation. (The one I am now using to post from) It seems to login to the forums o.k. on the PCs mentioned.

This appears to be a nation-specific problem. My primary Nation can't get access to forums, others can.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Have you always had problems with the forums? Is this your fist time getting onto them?

I've never been able to login to the forums (in the 2 weeks I've been playing with Knaff).. I've simply been viewing them not-logged-in. My first attempt to create another Nation was yesterday and I have had no troubles with forum login from that.

It has just occured to me, I remember an error popping up when I first created Knaff - actually, a page full of mysql errors. But when I refreshed, the nation was created and everything seemed fine. Checking if the forums worked didn't occur at the time, and only now I wonder if this has something to do with my problem.

Thank you, you've just confirmed the problem. I think I need [violet] in on this one. I don't think that I can fix this myself without seriously hacking the site, and I don't think that either [violet] or Max would appreciate that.
