Ok the other day I was at the Mall, and over heard a dude talking about NS, well when the oportunity presented itself I introduced myself and said Hi, as a fellow NS player, he asked my nation and I told him,
Infinite Loop, and he immeadiatly started berating me, for being a pr*ck and an A***ole, saying he has seen my flags and id I have the ability to make such wonderful flags, then why the H*ll do I not share these powers, why do I only make flags for myself .

I was kinda shocked, and said, Dude, have you never seen the factbook for the East Pacific, or even the forum, in the Tech Forum, I have a thread stickied where I amke flags for folks, on the EP factbook I have the link for the Flag service in the Ep Forum, He called me a liar, and stormed off, saying he would get me for being so selfish, myself and the clerk he was talking to watched him, he went to , of all places, Hot Topic (lol).

funny aint it how someone can be so very ignorant in real life and still retain an assumed aire of superiority, I seriously doubt anythig will pan out of this but perhaps it is a reason why Max does not endorse the Nationstates Meetup thing, heck my meetup got cancelled as Im like the only person in town who was interested in it.

My meetup got itself cancelled too. Not that I'm drastically annoyed, since it was on the other side of town on a day when I'd be transport-less and trying to get to a friend's booze-athon...er...party.
Then again, there aren't that many NSers in Brisbane, so perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised.

I've thought of the Meet Up idea for a while, thought it would be interesting. Unfortunatly, it would likely be the format to prove I am far more boring then ever anticipated, so I haven't really looked into the idea anymore.

There are certainly some nations I would enjoy meeting, some nations that amuse me for sure.

That's an interesting story. Just goes to show that some people really are as stupid as they appear. I think you certainly showed a fair amount of restraint, though. If it was me and some random ass started being smart with me, I'd be all over him - declare war on him IRL :evil: , and bring on the pain!

I'd think it would be obvious. From time to time a n00b throws a fiit when you kick them out for endorsement swapping.

Never mind that you let them back in after the update, a thing which you are certainly not required to do, they find themselves unable to become new Francos, and it galls them.

They therefore accuse you of being the original Francos.
