Becoming Founder of a Region

I created my region (Oppresive Right Wing Earth) before founders had regional control. I had an okay time controlling it when I was a U.N. Delegate, but I keep losing endorsements because people's nations keep ceasing to exist. Is there a way I can become permanent founder?

Yep. Go into the FAQ, select Getting Help, select Response to Moderators in the menu, type in your request.

In a few days, the Mods will ask is the other nations in your region accept you as founder, if they do then you are in.

That's what used to happen. As per my knowledge goes, they don't do that anymore. The Mods will only appoint a founder when special circumstances come into play.

Oh? Hmmm... well then.

Oh? Hmmm... well then.

That's what I heard, but we'll see what the mods think. I could be mistaken... :?

i saw this in another thread recently, and i believe the mods will make you founder if you created the region before founders had regional control

In the words of Neut himself, they'll only do it if there is irrefutable evidence that you did originally found the region.
However, this was some time ago and I'm not sure whether it will be done now even when such evidence exists.

has your region ever been invaded because if it does get invaded the MODS are more likely to help

Griefed, not invaded. There's a key difference.

Glad to see helpful nations in this thread, never want to dicourage it. But does anyone else feel that the misinformation % has been growing in the last few months. Two bits of incorrect info in one small thread, tho I don't mean this is just in one thread.

It would be great if nations that give wrong info got a mod TM that thanked them for helping, but asking they review the rules closer before giving advice. I don't want to ban nations giving advice, we have built a community around that-- that is how many of you know me, but it is a shame to see so much misinfo.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Seen quite a bit flying back and forth, especially in the last week.

I always find it best to give a disclaimer in the event of uncertainty, or find evidence in a pertinent thread to give backup
