A big site like this one has always copyright problems. They can't simply take smilies of one site and use them as their own. There are a whole lot tripwires, you only encounter if you violate these rules. Don't you have Paintshop, or another drawing program. Smilies are so easy to draw, as long as you don't want them animated. Sorry, can't help you with that. :(

Nobody has mentioned birthday smilies, duh! Anyway, we think Christmas and Newyear are a big enough event to deserve new smilies. This forum is already very plain and boring as it is. Especially the moderator's forum deserves some painting. New skins are easy to get for php, and they do not pose a server drain whatsoever, just like 8 or 10 new smilies.
