How do you get your settings to change?
Hello, I am relatively new to this game. I started out as a Liberal Democratic Socialist with a developing economy, average civil rights and good political freedoms. I managed to upgrade to an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy with a good economy and excellent civil rights and political freedoms. But, there I remain. None of the decisions I make have any effect on these settings. The only thing that occasionally changes is the tax rate. Are these supposed to change or am I doing something wrong?

The way you answer your issues depends on what type of nation you turn out to be. Like me, for example. I started out as a Right Winged Utopia, but slowly turned into a Compulsory Consumerist State (On purpose of course! :wink: ).
Answer your issues, trying to keep your goals in mind. "Hmm...what would I do if I wanted a stronger economy?" Things will slowly change. :)
Just give it time.
