Too many Regions
There are a vast amount of Regions that have only 1 or 0 member nations, i think that there should be some way to regulate this, to cut down on these inane numbers.
Some people like to live alone. I can relate to that, especialy with all those spammers or faul language.

Well, I know that the general consensus is to have several megaregions that people are born in.
I think We can cut down on that by creating Atlantics.
It is the general consensus that the AA is hated or ignored.
This could put them out of business.
What does Max Barry think about the AA?
If not him, then the board of the Moderators (all types)?

Regarding the AA, I do not believe any of us care. Regional politics make up a large portion of the NS World side of the game, and I personally find it great fun, but it is not for us to say which region is 1337 and which is n00b.
There are indeed lots of regions, nearly 11,000 at present. However, very few are of any significance as regards inter-regional politics, and the majority, the players' private regions, should be left alone / ignored if you do not find them useful to your game-playing experience. Players do have a relatively free hand in this game. If some people want to mess about in a 5-nation region with a few friends, leave them to it. If you wish to play the role of a cog in the internal bureacracy of a 100+ nation mega-region, then that is your choice. But please recognise that each choice is a valid one.

The AA and that kind of orginization is the kind you love to hate....it makes the game intresting

What is the problem with having 10,000 regions instead of, say, 1000?
Neither number can easily be manually looked through to find a suitable region.

I expect one of the more significant problems with deleting all regions with x nations or less and throwing the nations into a single special-purpose region would be that many people would create puppets and start a region with x + 1 nations, which would probably be more inconvenient all round.

Like Francos Spain. Having a few uber-villains around actually helps the game to some degree, in that the forces of good must be more active to fight them effectively.

This is why I discarded this idea immediately.
I seriously don't care for regions. Whenever I join one, I get kicked out a few weeks later. Thats why I've just givin up and sit in the Rejected Relms.
The RR is a fine place to be.

The RR is indeed quite nice. From here you can see all the major events and trouble spots of the world via Regional Happenings events. Small wonder that it's a counter-invader base.
In addition, the lack of Delegate ejection powers allow for both stability in regional government and the possibility for the region's members to be totally independant of power-hungry leaders.
There was a time when many people advocated the RR being some kind of Hell for ejected nations, hopefully that idea is extinct now.
