OK, here's the thing. My nation, which I took extreme care to not allow environmental degradation is suddenly showing "remarkable for its barren inhospitable landscape" :cry: . Which I found not only mysterious but also disheartening coz Im a nature nut :P . The only resolution I could think causing this was recently opening my borders to refugees. I realize these issues are kinda cryptic but I have a hard time believing it is credible to atttribute this policy to such a drastic change in the environment wihtout a corresponding massive increase in population. My population only went up the normal rate, along wiht a slight increase in taxes I assume attributable to a heavier burden on the social safety net etc...where da **** is the trade off for this tragedy :(

something doesn't make sense here. Anyone got some hints as to what caused this????

it happened to my nations too, I showed as a pristine envoroment up until one of the new issues hit me then Im narren and inhospitable,

lots of new people = lots of new houses = lots less nice envirnoment?

I always allow refugees and my environment is doing fine ... maybe it's because your nation is younger and more easily influenced, though.

Oh it's nothing to really worry about, i have been barren and inhospitable about 4-8 times now. But it allways changes back to normal nature..
