My puppets rankings

Woah. I have three puppets on page two, two on page 3, and four on page four, for highest PF. Roughly from smallest to largest, with largest being lower.

Is it possible that it really is impossible to really raise PF (one step forward two back)?

I've noticed Qaaolchoura's backsliding despite my every effort to raise them.

It is possible to raise them, but I find it's not as easy or quick as with civil rights or economy.

Yes I know that, but do they just naturally slip.

I dismiss any issues that could lower my PF, and make democracy voluntary, yet I slipped from "very good" to "good" today.

Well, I've successfully made it up the ladder before. Especially in getting my tyranny by majority puppet ... still working on a freemarket paradise but it's risen from corporate police to right-wing utopia (in the right direction :D).

On a side note, one of my puppets ranked 42 worldwide for "most extreme" a while ago and it was parctiaclly brand new (couldn't have done more then 5 issues at the time). That's another one that probably moves from higher to lower as time goes on.

#1 and #2 in the world are both newly created puppets too. As are #6 and #15 (albeit a tad older).

It's my impression too that raising political freedoms is extremely hard to do. I've got a nation where I'm trying to reach Free Market Paradise for months, to no avail.

you probably shouldn't dismiss any issues that could lower your PF as the ones that have PF lowering stances often have opposing stances that raise your PF.

Yes, two of them do, but they both lower CR, and one raises economic freedoms, and the rest are the new issues where people decide that it would be more fun to lower your PF, instead of your CR and EF, like they logically should (of course many of these new issues tend to be lose-lose-lose)

that is why it is always good to submit your own issue ideas.....although it may take a while to get processed

I think it's important to actually think about the effects of each option and if none will lead to EXACTLY the kind of government you want. Just ignore it.

I don't seem to have a problem raising my political freedoms :?

Most issues that can raise political freedoms seem to also raise civil rights at the same time however, so I think thats what makes some UN types so rare.

8, 175 or so same dif.

Of course even with a puppet to keep track of them they keep dying (I had about 2 dozen die yesterday alone and I've only created about a dozen to replace them) and I have around 30 that need to be entered in Teh Puppet Master's Dossier.
