NationStates Jolt Archive

I have been playing NationStates for quite a while and have only recently gotten into the role-playing aspect of it and I was wondering if there is any kind of guideline or formula for determining how much money your country has (for the purposes of figuring out how much military equipment and the such you can afford). I would assume that any forumla like this would depend on the population of the country becuase i cant really think of any other way to estimate this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch Klonor. Just so you know, this is my new country, thats why the population is so low, my 500 million+ country apparently got deleted for inactivity a while back. I remember there being a thread a while back about determining budget, but my search turned up nothing.
