The serch function isnt working at all.

Just tried it, and it's working for me. Are you getting some sort of error?
Please do note that the Search function has been limited to Author search only, so type in the name of a nation exactly.

You'll have to get into the habit of adding threads you want to keep tabs on to your favourites list.

Or just <Tag> them, so it will show up in your ego search.

It's not who authored the thread, it's all those who posted in it. So, if you posted in the thread you can find it by searching on your own name.
