i too would like more issues with LESS population 'groth'
i didn't know which forum to post this in so i appologise
if this is the wrong place for it.
by less i don't neccessarily mean zero
i'd just like to sneak something into the water supply to lower
human firtility accross the board and be perfectly willing to accept
the occsional odd mutation that
might inadvertanly resault
(and i don't mean more issues then the two a day option i just mean
not having increased population grownth tied to it
and like i say not 'zero' 'growth' but a lowering and occsional sporadic
inversion of it)

my guess is that you're using the old irriversable hammarabi population
growth model, about which there is nothing inevitable in the real world.
it OUGHT to be possible to tweek some of the factors to slow the rate)

having this as an option in settings would be reall really wonderful

No, it doesn't. Population growth is ~4-7 million per day for every nation (it's slightly random).
