Is there a way for me to get my nation name to simply be "Paradoxical Ideas" instead of "The ____ of Paradoxical Ideas?" The closest I can seem to get is "The of Paradoxical Ideas," which makes no sense. Some real-life countries have made this their official name (e.g. Canada), and I was wondering if it was possible at all.

Not quite, Loop. You can leave out the pre-title and become "The of 1 Infinite Loop", but you can't ever remove the "The". I forget what the reason is, but it was a question asked very shortly after custom pre-titles were debuted.

Nation names are coded as "The <pretitle> of <name>". It is my understanding that the "The " and " of " portions are hardcoded throughout the game. Making it an option to not have anything listed would thus require a lot of coding.
