WOOPS! I accidently choose the wrong option in an issue last nite! Could I have it un-done or something? It ruined the point of my nation!

I don't think it can be undone because of the inherent nature of the game. Heck, ever since I accidentally outlawed gambling, I've been happy, actually, about being a corrupt dictatorship.

You cant undo an option once it has gone through the only time when you can change it is when it still appears on your issues list and says [legislation pending] or wait untill the next time you get that issue :)

You'll just have to be more carfull in future and slowly mold your nation back to the state it was in before.

If it was a one time issue then you could be in trouble. Up untill recently banning cars was for life, but now the new issues coming through are begining to address this.

Your decisions on past issues are not recorded. When you make a decision, your nations stats are changed based on that decision and the game forgets what your choice was. When issues start repeating, if you choose the same option the stats will move even farther in the direction that choice pushes them. If you choose a different option, then your stats will change according to that option.

(note: With a new proccess called "issue treeing" the choices on past issues can be directly recorded, but I don't think any issues in the game actually use this yet)]

Basically what all that means is that you can't change your decision and you'll have to live with it. For now compulsory vegitarianism and illegalization of private enterprice are permanent as there is no "undo" isssue, though.

you can change it as long as it says legislation pending, but once it has gone into effect, it is locked and cannot and willnot be reset or changed.

The game does seem to record if you ban cars. The re-legalise cars issue then becomes available. I think this is the only example of issue treeing but there may be more (the intention has certainly been declared to add more). Apart from that though issues only changes a few stats and moves on. Whether you accept this or not depends, like so much in this game, on how you role-play your nation. You might for example consider nazi protests banned permanently if you choose that option once.
