I checked and The Free Land of Mox Jet, The Free of Icy Manipulator both have a population of 7 million and yet they rank 4th and 5th. why is this so i've seen it happen before and would like to know why?

Whats the region, what was the UN ranking based on that day?

well its todays and the world and the most politically free nations so why are new nations winning?

Probably because they haven't had a chance to mess up there political freedoms yet ... or something.

Political Freedoms is not something that one has to build, it can be something that one can start out with. The economy rankings are an entirely different matter.

also those nations are both magif the gathering cards. pretty funny.

1- I'm beginning to get funny telegrams. Intelligent ones too, like recruitment TMs and people asking me whether I play magic. No kidding.

2- Both nations are in Vacation mode, yet *DO* receive issues (2 per day). Consider this a bug report. Pending issues are not removed though, so they fill up their issue banks and I'll have to drop Vacation mode to clear it (come to think of it, there will never be less than one issue in the issue bank...)

3- If it wasn't for me looking at this thread with my main nation, I wouldn't have known this... until I logged into these nations again and would've been left wondering why they received so many silly TMs...

Just choose anarchy when you create your nation and dont answer the questions on page 2.

We can have as many as we want just so long as only one of them is in the UN.

well i don't understand the questions but the recruitment telegrams are normal if you join the u.n or post a message on a pacific board saying you're looking for a region you will get one but for people asking you whether you play magic is just weird but maybe it is to do with your motto or your region otherwise i don't know i'm afraid

That's on UN nation. You can have as many puppets as you wish.

The mods all have puppets, and I, (although not a mod) have almost 150 now. I even have a puppet just to keep track of my puppets.

Although I only have about a dozen to largeenough for custom titles.

As for the issue at hand, the PF issues are very tricky for newbies, and most of us I guess lose our PF early on to pitfalls like the vote-buying issue. Although now that I know how easy it is, time to create some puppets to crak the PF of the UN rankings. Unless I have already.

What were the two nations at the top?
